In the springtime when love is new,
The earth is blooming with vibrant life renewed,
The journey started with you and me,
Young and fresh as the breeze.

Love will follow in its own mysterious way, sometimes fleeting, sometimes lost.
What a treasure when the roots take hold and grow of its own accord.

In the summer when love is strong,
We settle into our busy new lives,
Young ones raised up, new paths discovered,
Life with full and warm.

In the autumn as we grow old,
Leaves will fall of rust and red and gold,
We may be slower but our hearts can be warmer,
Wisdom wrinkles our eyes.

In the winter when love is soft,
Surrounded by the hushed blue of snow,
Now the world tilts toward darkness and slumber,
and so will you and I.

Will you journey with me, my love,
